Hi guys
This is ganesh. My streem is EEE . TCS technical interview followed by written test.The written test consists of four sections
Section-1-antonyms and synonyms (10M+10M)
Section-2-Quantitative apti(38M)
Section-3-critical reasoning(12M)
Section-4- verbal(12M)
written test consists of 3 sets namely X,Y,Z. I got Z set.some of the antonyms and synonyms which i remembered are
Equity-composure
clutch-hold
brakish
admonish
polite
Section-2
For QA just follow the previous papers.
Section-3
Follow GRE 12th edition
Section-4
un known to us just guess the answer and mark it.
That's it .the students appeared for written test arround 1000.and among them 650 has selected for written test.the test is conducted on Apr 1st and the interview held on 3rd. TCS mainly concentrate on technical interview.If u can clear this rounnd u will be in TCS.at my coll both technical round and HR at the same pannel.
on apr 3rd my turn came

me : i said everyone call me as a ganesh .
Int : k,ganesh can u charge 9 volts battery with a 6 volts charger
me : yes and explained. in between another fellow interfeared and asked u r from diploma y u wanna change ur fieldand also he directly says that u r not fit for this field and its better go for ur field. He really created created stress on me and also he observed the how i handle the situation.and i explained y i wanna change.
Int : and he asked many tech questions wt is the traction supply
me : 700 v DC for metro and 25KV AC for ordinory trains.

me : we r using DC series motor

me: it produce high st torque at the time of starting
Int : If AC available wt will u do
me: i will use converter and explained with block diagram.
Int : how to convert Mech energy to Elec energy
me: told
Int: how to convert DC to AC
me: inverter explained with wave forms
Int: other fellow asked puzzle type question
me: xplained with detail
Int: hav u studied electronics and which studies r u studied
me : yes and i said which subjects i studied
Int : can u draw MOSFET diagram
me : yes and i explained with a diagram
Int: y TCS
me : explained
Int : wr will u prefer
me: i will work any where
Int : will work in hyderabad
me : again i will work anywhere
Int : any questions
me: asked about firing
Int : explained
Be confident and positive thats it definitly it is easy to crack the TCS among the all 412 members finally selected.
