Hi everyone
i would like to share my experience of my placement with tcs.
There will be four steps in the rectt.
STEP 1 : written examination:
this contains general aptitude, English, critical reasoning. I strongly suggest all the aspirants that they should refer previous tcs placement papers because all the aptitude questions will be repeated without change in numericals !!
coming to the English and critical reasoning part BARRONS 12th edition should be referred and high frequency words list should be learnt and critical reasoning part at the end of the book should be by hearted because all the questions in the exam are from that part directly.
STEP2 : Technical interview
Here they may ask simple C basic questions and they may ask questions in your discipline also. they will check ur confidence levels in your own area.
STEP 3 : Management round
This is a typical round in which all your managing skills will be tested. they will ask u some puzzles and they will u some situations and test our skills. they have asked me a question that " a letter to be typed is given to me and my colleague and the condition is that i don't have typing skills whereas the other guy has but i should be able to do the work and should manage...."
so u should be prepared well in advance for this round. browse through net for managerial questions and discuss with ur friends for better answers. look out for the puzzles asked in various interviews also.
STEP 4: HR round
This is the last phase in rectt. here they will test your communication skills and English proficiency. General hr questions available in internet will be sufficient. some questions like "who is your role model",."hobbies"," tell me about your self", what are the extra curricular activities".......this round concentrates on your resume and all the questions will be posed t o u based on our resume
I wish all the aspirants all the best.
