hi.
I am Ankur Agarwal from Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College.Infosys came to our college on 9th December 2009.
Total students eligible: 282(from akgec only)
no. of students cleared 1st round:123
no. of students selected: 105
elligibility criteria: 65% in 10th,12th ,btech
no.of rounds: 2
1st round : written (aptitude and English)
2nd round :interview
aptitude: there were 30Q and we had to do them in 40 mins.(no negative marking).5 questions from logic,2 puzzles each having 5 questions,5Q on graph,5Q on figure series,5Q on data sufficiency. All Q were very very easy and all were from R.C.Agarwal latest edition.there r some incomplete theory on logic in old edition.
English: there were 40Q and 35 mins.(no negative marking). there were 2 long paragraphs each having 5 Q,5Q on incoorect sentences,then there were Qs on tenses,idioms,prepositions,verbs.The paper was quite tough so prepare it well. you can refer wren and martin and whatever english material you have. remember to do the passage at last. there r sectional cut off also,so you have to qualify both the papers.it is not told what is the sectional cutoff.
After 2 long hours of waiting the results were announced and i had cleared the written round.
Interview: the interview is completely HR.No technical.Be true.Dont show arrogance and attitude. prepare your cv well. they generally ask from your cv, your hobbies,training, projects.It nearly takes 20 to 25 minutes.hr people are very good and polite.
At 11:50 pm the results were announced and I was the lucky one .thanks to god.Iwas selected in infi.
