Accenture Placement Paper 10 January 2011


Hello,

Accenture Aspirants, recently off-campus was held at park college Coimbatore. Around 2000 candidates were there out of which they shortlisted 33 candidates for Technical & HR interview. Shocked all credit goes to merittrac consultancy service people because they checked 2000 papers in just 15 minutes. May be god gifted hand guys.

I was able to solve 49 out of 55 questions correctly but was unable to be shortlisted for next round.

Meritrack type of people are there who have looked for 50 out of 55 questions. Well its not always you to perform for Accenture but its merittrack people who will decide you onward journey to Accenture. But that was my experience.

Let me tell you some of the questions and process which I remember after a shocker.

1) Written test
It comprised of 3 sections

a) Verbal ability
b) Analytical ability
c) Logical ability

Verbal ability:

20 questions were there 4 questions on Aritcles (fill in the blanks), 3 questions on the correct meaning of the word in ITALICS, 2 passage were there 10 questions on them very easy, 3 more questions on fill in the blanks that was verbal ability.

Analytical ability:

20 questions were there percentage, time and work, ratio and proportion based questions were there. Some arrangements with conditions questions, blood relation. Simple you can go through previous sample papers given in placement paper blog. You can make the most of it. Some examples.

A man said to a lady, "Your mother's husband's sister is my aunt". How is the lady related to the man?
A) Daughter B) Grand daughter C) Mother D) Sister

In a row of 60, if Ram is standing at 17th from the first, what is his position from the last?
A) 25 B) 43 C) 44 D) 45

A man is facing northwest. He turns 90 degrees in the clockwise direction and then 135degrees in the anti-clockwise
direction. Which direction is he facing now?
A) East B) West C) North D) South
Logical ability:

15 questions were there. Even a child if goes through the previous year question paper can solve it. See some questions below.

Follow the directions given below to answer the questions that follow. Your answer of each question below would be. A, if all three items given in the questions are exactly alike. B, if only the First and second items are exactly alike. C, if only the first and third items are exactly alike. D, if only the second and third items are exactly alike. E, if all three items are different.

A) 36/12*4+50-8 =-106
B) 12*8/4+50-8 =45.5
C) 36*4/12+36-8 = 4.7
D) 8*36/4+50-8 = 300

And some more simple questions were there thats it. This is the written test pattern.
