The distance learning MBA programs with the highest recognition in Europe tend to be from business schools which are headquartered in Europe. Well-known providers of distance learning MBAs include the Open University, Warwick University, Heriot Watt, and others.

Some of these MBA programs can be followed entirely by distance learning while others deliver these MBA programs through “open learning” with a mixture of distance learning and class attendance.
Probably the strongest pure distance learning course is that of Warwick University, partly due to the strength and reputation of its business school and also its flexibility - it is possible to transfer between its various delivery modes. Warwick University offers its MBAs in full time, part time, modular and distance learning formats.
Strathclyde, Henley and Kingston are also well-regarded programmes, although don’t quite have either the reputation or flexibility of Warwick. Mainly the course structure makes them less flexible for overseas students.
